Property Week and the Express have picked up on the ironic timing of Boris Johnson handing Landmark Group CEO, Mark Hawthorn a Points of Light award after Xmas Party Heroes successfully raised over £1.5 million for charity by companies donating their cancelled Xmas party funds.
Hours later on the same day, it is alleged that 10 Downing Street had their ‘uncancelled’ Christmas party.
Let’s not forget about all the businesses who donated last year’s unused Xmas party funds, raising over £1.5 million for over 300 charities. If you have had to cancel your Xmas party this year, then feel free to donate the now surplus funds to those in need.
